Paste wax

This is the finishing product that I apply to all my handles, wooden sayas and blades. It is natural and food safe.

Paste wax is a traditional recipe that I make from locally sourced natural beeswax and mineral oil, scented with a blend of aromatic oils including clove and myrrh.

It will brighten and condition wood and leather as well as provide a protective coating to your high carbon steel which can rust while in storage.

It is made into a consistency which will melt quickly with friction from your hands into wood surfaces and also to coat a dry metal blade smoothly. In my experience some oils can bead and wipe off when putting a blade in storage.

This product is not designed for cutting boards since it is scented.
