Inspired by historic examples from my personal colelction, this utility knife is slightly longer than a paring knife but not as substantial as a full sized chef. It is ideal for prep, animal breakdown and the long gentle taper to a sharp point makes this style ideal for jobs which require more finess than is comfortable with a full sized blade.
The blade has been forged from 1084 steel in this full tang style knife. It is thinly ground with a distal taper to be nimble in prep tasks. The handle is made from Brazilian Ironwood and has brass pins for a classic styling.
